Justin Rest. Owner, inspector, and the only person who shows up to your inspection. No subcontractors. No 'associate inspectors'. Just Justin.

“For as long as I've been able to swing a hammer, I've been involved with construction.”
Growing up, every day off from school meant helping Dad with the business. Residential remodeling and construction, commercial construction, and even custom cabinetry. This hands-on experience is second to none for learning about homes as a system.
The transition to home inspection was a natural one. Same eye. Same toolkit. Same understanding of how a house ages. But now, instead of building or renovating, I'm protecting buyers from the things that someone else built or renovated, and didn't always do right.
Off the clock: two kids who keep me honest, a few cars in various states of project, and as much time on a mountain bike as Virginia weather allows.
Continuing education is how I stay calibrated. Every certification below is current and renewable.

“As a bonus, I usually get to make new friends under a home.” Justin Rest
